This very easy cobbler recipe is good with any type of fruit pie filling.
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoons baking powder
- Melt butter in a pie dish in a 325 degree oven, keeping an eye on it to make sure it does not burn. Once melted, take out of the oven and turn the oven up to 350 degrees.Mix flour, milk, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl and stir to mix. Pour over melted butter. Scoop large spoonfuls of pie filling and and place around the top of the the mixture. Sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar over the top of the pie. Place in the preheated over for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool on rack for 10 minutes before you cut into it.
